The owner/operator of Double M Helicopters is Monte R. Myers. He is a 27 Year veteran of the US Army with overseas deployments to Central America and Afghanistan. He attended flight school in 1986, graduated as an Honor Graduate and was given the Rank of Warrant Officer One. He attained the capstone rank of CW5 in his current assignment as the NDARNG State Standardization Instructor Pilot. He has held various positions such as Aviation Life Support Equipment Officer, Safety Officer and Instrument Flight Examiner. During the course of over 7500 accident free flight hours, he became qualified in 9 different helicopters(TH-55, UH-1, OH-6, OH-58, UH-60, Bell 206BIII, Bell 206 L1&L3, Bell 407) and 11 different airplanes(PA140, C182, A-90, BE-200, BE-55, C-310, C-12-5 models).
He has worked as a EMS Pilot in Command and is functioning as a Company Check Airman and Chief Helicopter Pilot for a Part 135 Operator.
